Adobe Document Cloud – A cloud-based file sharing website that is used to share the PDF files, while preserving the formatting.

Ahnenblatt – A genealogy program used to create and save family trees and match them with MyHeritage family trees. The tutorial is written for this software.
Avataars – Free cartoon avatars used for profile images for the sample genealogy file.
Canva – A graphic design website with a variety of free templates that was used to create the Powerpoint presentation.
CanvasFlip – A website used to test the Powerpoint presentation for accessibility for colorblind viewers.
Full Size Screen Capture Chrome Extension – An extension for Chrome used to capture full-size screenshots of the Ahnenblatt Tutorial for the presentation.

Gravatar – A website used to create a personal avatar for the Ahnenblatt Tutorial website.
Google Drive – A cloud-based storage solution used to upload files to be shared over Google Docs.
Google Docs – A cloud-based file sharing website that was used to share non-PDF downloadable files. It can share PDF files as well but it can cause formatting changes.
LogoMakr – A website used to create the favicon for the Ahnenblatt Tutorial website and the presentation.
Microsoft Paint – A graphics editor program used to save the favicon as a .jpg file for the website.

MyHeritage – A genealogy website that was used to match the sample family tree against the Ahnenblatt genealogy file.
StepShot – A free to try program that was to used capture screenshots for the tutorial and the presentation.
To use the Ahnenblatt tutorial, you will need the software. It is a genealogy program that allows users to create family trees and save data about people and places connected to the family. It also lets users view statistical data and match their family trees with information found on the MyHeritage website.
